The release date of Mahesh Babu-starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’ (May 20) has put the makers of ‘A…Aa’ in a quandary. While the Trivkram Srinivas’ directorial was initially scheduled to hit the marquee as a mid-May release, fresh announcement from Mahesh Babu has come in as a rude shock. Moreover, with post-production works too getting delayed, there’s a strong possibility that Nithiin-starrer may back out from May.”
“We don’t want to lose out on the holiday season and release the family drama, at least, in the last week of May. With the initial release not happening and tentative date (May 13) looking unlikely, we are eyeing a May 27 release.
However, that totally depends on the theatre availability. We’ll see how it goes but as of now, we are trying to push it for a May-end release, and June will be the last resort,” says a source from the production house Haarika & Hassine Creations.
