Balakrishna shoots despite injury

No period drama films are spared of injuries while shooting the amazing action scenes that thrill the audience.

Getting into the details, the unit of Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ recently returned to Hyderabad after filming a couple of battle sequences.

However, while shooting for the epic action scene, Balayya injured himself. The Nandamuri scion fell from a horse and sustained a few scratches and bruises.

A source close to the unit reveals, “Since it was an action sequence featuring several soldiers and camels, Balayya’s horse was horrified with the chaos surrounding it and lost it’s balance as a result. The actor, who was riding the horse fell down and suffered a few bruises. The entire crew on the set rushed to Balayya and even advised him to take a break. But being the typical actor that he is, Balayya showed a lot of character and was ready for the next scene within no time, and continued to shoot despite injury.”

While director Krish’s quest for the leading lady continues, on the other hand, the unit is gearing up for another short schedule in Hyderabad from Monday.
