Vidya Balan to promote Ek Albela in her Geeta Bali look !

Vidya Balan was the first actress to pioneer the trend of actors making public appearances during promotions in the look of their films

The actress first donned Silk Smita's look for the promotions of The Dirty Picture and later promoted Kahaani as the pregnant Vidya Bagchi , two films that went on to become career-defining for the actress.

Sources now reveal that Vidya will also do a promotional event for the Marathi film, Ekk Albela, (in which she makes a special appearance )in her Geeta Bali look.

Vidya who essays the role of Geeta Bali ,in the biopic based on Bhagwan Dada, will promote the song Bholi Soorat Dil ke khote ,which has been revived in the film, in the look Bali sported in the song.

Says a source, " Vidya has a special appearance in Ekk Albela and will be seen in 2 songs in the film, where she revives Geeta Bali at the peak of her career. The campaign will be flagged off as Vidya dons Geeta Bali's look from the song Bholi Soorat Dil ke khote ,which has been revived in the film and will be launched this week.She had earlier promoted her blockbusters Kahaani and The Dirty Picture in a similar manner,post which it became a common trend for several Bollywood films".
