While the team of Ram Charan-starrer ‘Dhruva’ was delighted to have cinematographer Aseem Mishra (of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Ek Tha Tiger' fame) on board, their excitement was short lived. Apparently, the ace cinematographer has been replaced by another lensman PS Vinod. Aseem was equally thrilled to make his debut in South. Just when he was about to assume duties he had to exit the project, courtesy a ring from Salman Khan.

We reliably learnt that Salman personally requested Aseem to be part of his next project. Aseem is very close to Salman and has also worked with him for three films. And when he got the call from the actor himself for his forthcoming project, he obliged. The cinematographer has informed director Surender Reddy and Ram Charan about the sudden development and has come out of ‘Dhruva’ amicably.

“Aseem did let the unit know about the abrupt development and convinced Charan and co with his decision,” informs a source in the know. ‘Dhruva’ is the remake of Tamil film ‘Thani Oruvan’ and sees Charan in the role of powerful cop. It also features Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swami.
