Only a man strong in body and mind can wholeheartedly support his successful wife: Sunny Leone
In an exclusive interview, Sunny Leone talks about husband Daniel Webber who participates in her achievements, motherhood, working with Shah Rukh Khan and having not worked with Salman yet, Girls, giving Gallis and more.
"Mother-hood may not happen in another 9 months time though, " says Sunny Leone. In an exclusive interview with Lipika Varma, Bollywood's hot chicks talks about husband Daniel being a part of her achievements, motherhood, working with SRK and not working with Salman yet ,Girls giving Gaalis and more.
Sunny Leone is indeed very happy with the way her career has shaped up, "Yes! You are right he has always stood beside me even while I may be hogging all the lime light. It needs [a man –especially hubby] to be a strong person to be able to do so. A man who can be supportive to his wife in all her achievements surely needs to be confident in his mind and body as well. He has accepted me for what I am. We both are determined and have the same drive towards our profession. He is the driving force for my team as well. He works non-stop so that my team can fetch some money for their living as well. He work hard -same as me not any different. Working hard not only helps those achieve what they desire. Those who do so will surely be happy for whatever they may have achieved.
Sunny Leone is humbled as well proud for having done an item number in SRK’s film Raaes, "Oh! Yes! This is indeed a great achievement. I do not have any god father and making it onto the bollywood horizon it was sheer hard work. I always try to give in my best by learning hard –be it my dialogues, dance and all that needs to make me a fine and best actor. I was indeed very flabbergasted when I received a call to perform an item number in SRK's film,”Raes. My instant reaction was –“Have you guys dialed the right number? Do you want Sunny’s number? Did I hear right. I feel proud that slowly and gradually I am getting the needed recognition.”
But you have not worked with Salman Khan yet?
I have indeed met Salman Khan and I find him so wonderful as a person, who is ready to always help others. Who would not like to work with Salman? I can only pray and wish to God to fulfill my dream to work with him too?”
Adding more, she says, "But Yes,! I am working with Arbaaz Khan. I cannot comment anything though...if I say something-Mera Band bajega!”
Sunny is very much Indian at heart though an NRI
.She hails from humble background. While I was born in Himachal Pradesh we moved out Canada. Both my mom and dad worked hard together, my father washed dishes too while mom took the trash. So male or female I don’t see them with any different point of view. In the show Split- Villa-9 the Princes take to mouthing bad words, I detest it totally..I do not like any woman taking a upper hand merely for their being a female. You may have difference of opinion with your partner but,”Gaali Mat do! mujhe pasand nahi hai .”[Don’t use bad words…I do not like that]
On experiencing Motherhood:
Whenever I have been vocal about Motherhood, I have been misquoted. Let me take this opportunity to explain my inner thoughts about the same. The status would be fulfilled at a later stage in my life. It may not happen in another 9 months time though. However, I being a woman would love to attain motherhood once in my life time. So whenever it may happen it will surely happen.
