Parineeti paid a bomb for South debut

Tollywood lures many from far and near for sure. And every time a top B-Town star makes a debut in this neck of the woods, speculations drive to the jaw-dropping pay packet they charge for it. The latest being Parineeti Chopra, a name to reckon with in Bollywood.

When the makers of Mahesh Babu-starrer as-yet-untitled film approached the famed actress for the leading lady role they were taken aback with what she demanded.

Any guesses how much the ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ actress has been paid? She is reportedly being paid more than Rs 3 cr to be a part of the project.
On the high pricing, a source close to the unit said, “After every Bollywood A-listers name was discussed, the search has ended with Parineeti.

Her natural flair for acting, huge following and glam quotient made producers NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu to meet the big fat pay cheque.” Mahesh is rumoured to be playing a spy in the actioner, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, set to go on floors on July 15 in Hyderabad.
