City-based wheelchair bound Web Accessibility Specialist, Narsing Rao Bongurala, who hails from Meerpet, was recently felicitated in Mumbai by Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan for the poster he designed for the movie ‘TE3N’.

The competition, which was announced on May 25, received more than 60,000 posters in which 12 entries selected as winners, whose work will be showcased on hoardings and advertisements with their names and respective States.

Speaking to The Hans India, Narsing Rao recounts his journey. “I started my career as a Public Telephone Operator and I learned DTP at the same time. Step by step I learned Graphic Designer, Web Development Expert and now I’m working as Web Accessibility Specialist,” he says.

“I had sent eight posters for the competition and they said each one is good. I made the poster by watching the ‘TE3N’ trailer and I wanted Amitabh, Vidya and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a serious mode because in the film they were searching for a girl. I made the poster in triangular way by using Adobe Photoshop,” he informs on his participation in the competition.

Narsing Rao also runs a foundation ‘WOW’ (Wonder on Wheels) to help differently-abled persons. The main objective of ‘WOW’ is to bring in awareness, fight for rights of physically challenged at public places and sensitise stakeholders to establish accessibility friendly ecosystem across Telangana.

“I’m a diehard fan of “Big B” since my childhood and for me, meeting him is a life time achievement,” signs off Narsing Rao on a happy note.
