Actor Vikramjeet is currently shooting for the Indo-Chinese film ‘Buddies in India’, a sequel to the 2012 film ‘Lost in Thailand’. He is playing a Bull King, a prominent name in Chinese mythology. Ask the actor how he prepared for the role, he shares, “I did not have much time to prepare.

It is a very strong and powerful character and I will be portrayed as hulk-like figure. I’m already in a good shape but I need to be more brawny. So I started to train in weight lifting and other heavy weight work outs to build the muscle. I fight like how a bull fights, and I use my head gear (inset), which has bull-like horns. My costumes too are different; they are tribal-like.”

Sharing his experience of shooting for the comic drama, he reveals, “My role (antagonist) is based out of India and there are several things happening in my kingdom. This film shows the quest of the Bull King to teach a lesson to the hero Wang Baoqiang(also the director) who comes to India and accidently touches the Princess (Shruti Sodi).

Initially it was tough shooting since I did not understand the language (Chinese) the director was speaking (smiles) but later we got used to it. I’m the first non-Chinese actor to play the Bull King role.” Continuing in the same breath, Vikramjeet adds, “The protagonist doesn’t know English and the people in the Kingdom don’t know Chinese. So the conversations are humours and the situational comic moments will leave the audience in splits. In fact, Wang is famous for his comic stuff in China.”
