Rajinikanth's Robot 2.0 is being helmed by Shankar and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is making his debut in Kollywood where he will be seen essaying the role of the antagonist while Amy Jackson features in the lead role.
Fans are eagerly waiting for both the sequels of Robot and Baahubali which are set to release next year.
Rumor mills suggest that both the movies might be heading for a clash at the box office.
Sources inform that Rajinikanth-Shankar's Robot 2.0 has completed 50% of the movie. The makers of Robot 2.0 have planned to release the movie next year during Diwali but with Baahubali-The Conclusion also releasing at the same time, the release is being postponed.
