Akhil in love with Hyderabad girl?

Actor Akhil's debut movie Akhil tanked at the box office and currently he is busy finalising scripts in order to make an impact much larger than his first movie.

While rumours have been doing the rounds over Akhil's brother Naga Chaitanya's love affair with Samantha, Akhil too seems to be surrounded by such rumours lately.

Reports suggested that Akhil had introduced someone to his family members and that Akkineni Nagarjuna and Amala were happy with their son's choice. Also, reports surfaced that Akhil got engaged to his girlfriend.

However, putting a rest to the rumors, Akhil said to a leading daily, "I am not engaged, just introduced the girl in my family. We knew each other from a long time but have to follow certain formal traditions before disclosing certain things."
