“I have got this uniqueness of portraying various characters in several genres. I owe all this to my genes (his father Giri Babu) and people who accepted me as a comic villain, serious villain and as a comedian and character artist.

I am an accidental actor until I was given a break by Krishna vamsi through the film called Murari. I have been appreciated for many of my characters and it is very heartening that there are people who remember me by my character or dialogue,” she said.

He attended the meeting to mark Rotary Club of Vijayawada Mid Town’s achievement of winning 75 awards towards their contribution to public sector schools. He expressed his deepest desire to join the organisation and assured them that he would be available for activities as such.

Raghu Babu also shared some of his on-screen and off-screen experiences with other star comedians like Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Venu Madhav, Krishna Bhagavan and others.

He later gave away a sewing machine to Minaakshi Arts and Crafts Society on behalf of Rotary Club of Midtown. President of the club T Kishan Babu, secretary M Krishna Prabhu, Rotarians and their families were present during the programme.
