First look poster of Mani’s next released

The first look poster of Mani Ratnam's much anticipated next was unveiled on Thursday. Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, the poster gives a glimpse of the chemistry the lead actors will share in the film. Also evident in the poster are a few war aircraft, flying doves and Kashmir border, and one wonders if this a love story with a war backdrop.

Ratnam will be reportedly filming the first schedule of the movie in Kashmir. In the film, which has music by AR Rahman, Karthi plays a pilot and Aditi will be seen as a doctor. The film, titled ‘Kaatru Veliyida’ in Tamil, will be jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Thenandal Films.
