Mumbai: Thalaivar Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Kabali’ is set to hit the screens on July 22 (Friday) and his fans cannot hold back their excitement any longer. The craze has gone high up in the air since a holiday is being declared on its release day. Several companies in Bengaluru and Chennai have confirmed Friday a holiday so that the employees could fulfill their wish of watching the film on the first day and get to feel the zeal.

The news about the employees from different companies setting up on going for a mass sick leave got disclosed which made the companies take this step. Every employee was ready for the mass bunk only to watch their much loved superstar Rajnkanth’s ‘Kabali’. Therefore, the companies weren’t willing to be unsympathetic and hence, simply declared Friday a holiday!

Hindustan Times reported,Opus Waterproofing and Fyndus India Pvt Ltd, both Bangalore and Chennai based companies respectively, were among the other companies who decided to follow the trend and create an unusual experience. Also, to get rid of the piracy, few companies volunteered to giveaway free tickets in order to dodge the issue.

“This was an internal company circulation which was sent out on Sunday. I could feel the eagerness in my employees, so instead of dealing with mass bunks and mobile switch offs, I came up with the idea of declaring a holiday on July 22 and be a part of the celebration. It would also serve as a motivation to my employees. Like Diwali bonus, we treated them to Kabali bonus” said Manoj Pushparaj of Opus Waterproofing on Tuesday.

Rajniknth’s ‘Kabali’ was reported to leak online on the same day. According to the reports, numerous links to view the movie online were available in the Dark Web (overlay networks that use the public internet but require specific software, configurations or authorization to access), before its release date.

The matter has raised issues concerned with piracy which is why the producers are doing their best to keep this problem away from the public. They are all quiet regarding the online leakage of the movie and are getting in touch with the authorities in charge to expunge all the unauthorized links to the movie.
