Manchu Manoj will be playing a lover boy in SK Satya’s (of ‘Naa Raakumarudu’ fame) sophomore effort, the filming of which will roll shortly in Hyderabad.
Manchu Manoj will be playing a lover boy in SK Satya’s (of ‘Naa Raakumarudu’ fame) sophomore effort, the filming of which will roll shortly in Hyderabad. “His character will be on the lines of what Madhavan and Karthi played in their respective films ‘Run’ and ‘Awara.’ Though a routine line, the actor was particularly impressed with the way Satya etched his character, before green-signalling the project,” confirmed a source close to the development.
The source added that the makers are on the lookout for a heroine after initial choice Pragya Jaiswal left the project. “Manchu Manoj, who is shooting in Visakhapatnam, will return to Hyderabad on Monday and he will sit down with the director and zero in on the heroine. As far as the supporting characters go, the likes of Rajendra Prasad, Kota Srinivas Rao, Sampath, Praveen and Sathya are on board.”
The source added the film will have a Guntur backdrop. “50 per cent of the film will unfold in Guntur. Once the Hyderabad schedule comes to an end, the makers will pack bag their bags to Guntur,” the source said. - NR
