Nithya to play NTR’s wife in Janatha Garage

Known to not only play her character to the tee but to seamlessly become the character she is playing, Nithya Menen will be seen as NTR’s wife in the in-progress film ‘Janatha Garage.’

Apparently, the ‘Ishq’ actress, who generally takes her own sweet time to green-lit a project, gave her nod to director Koratala Siva in her first hearing itself. “Nithya goes by her intuition. When we narrated the script she asked a couple of clarifications pertaining to the key points in the script.

After Siva addressed them, she flagged off the project instantly. Though her screen presence will be less compared to the other leading lady Samantha, the makers are sure that she would be the surprise package of the film,” informs a source from the unit. The action entertainer, also featuring Mohanlal and Unni Mukundan, will open in cinemas on September 2.
