Emraan Hashmi’s first home production to be shot in Kargil

After the success of Azhar, Emraan Hashmi and Tony D'Souza reunite for another film ,however, this time around the film will mark Emraan Hashmi's foray into production.

Emraan will turn producer with the film that will be directed by Tony ,under the banner Emraan Hashmi Productions ,in association with Tony D’Souza and Nitin Upadhaya’s Oddball Motion Pictures.

Sources reveal that the film is an intense drama set against the backdrop of the army and is based on real life events .

Reveals director Anthony D’Souza, “Yes, it is based around certain real events which happened during the Kargil war. We will be shooting in Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, the Indo-Pak border, Delhi, Hyderabad and London. We start around December -January with the snow portions”.

Says Emraan Hashmi, “Tony is a good filmmaker, technically sound and given a good story, can do wonders. I think he will handle a subject like this well. He's not rigid and though the final call is his, he is open to suggestions and includes everyone in discussions”.
