Nithiin awaits Surender Reddy’s nod

Ever wondered what happened to Nithiin’s proposed project with ‘Nenu.. Sailaja…’ director Kishore Tirumala? Turns out the actor developed cold feet to star in the project which was touted to be a romantic drama with family emotions. Reason? Apparently, up next, he is keen on starring in an action entertainer which would add not only add to his image but also increases his market and so is waiting for none other than Surender Reddy.

A source says, “After ‘A… Aa’ collected over Rs 50 crore at the box-office, Nithiin realised that it would be better to follow up with a film which can collect more than ‘A… Aa’ and only action entertainers would facilitate it. Hence he wants to team up with Surender Reddy who is known for his stylish actioners. The director has been paid an advance amount to direct Nithiin long time ago and the latter is hoping that the former will make a film with him after he is through with ‘Dhruva.’”

“If ‘Dhruva’ strikes gold, Reddy would be the boss to pick his next actor and if it doesn’t, Nithiin and Co would be reconsidering their decision to work with the ‘Race Gurram’ helmer. It is a catch-22 situation to be in for both the parties but that’s how the industry goes. It’s pure business,” the source adds, smiling. “It is the reason why the actor hasn’t started any project yet.” The source further insists that if nothing emerges in his favour, then Nithiin might team up with Kishore Tirumala.
