The American actress, producer, model and TV hostess is set to make her Telugu debut opposite Rajasekhar

Although actor Rajasekhar and director Praveen Sattaru’s collaboration raised a few eyebrows, the real surprise has come with the female casting of the film. Talkies has learnt that ‘Vishwaroopam’ fame Pooja Kumar has been roped in as one of the leading ladies of the film. “The National-Award winning filmmaker has penned a strong character that needs an actress who is game to push herself and at the same time look glamorous.

Also, he wanted to make his casting look fresh and appealing and so approached Pooja with the part,” shares a source close to the unit, adding, “Her part and Praveen’s realistic approach towards filmmaking ensured that the actress considered the project.” Rajasekhar will be seen as powerful and stylish cop in the action drama that’ll go on floors soon.
