Chennai: Director Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam says superstar Salman Khan is yet to watch his indie hit "Pellichoopulu", which has taken Telugu filmdom by storm.

"We had met Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri on Thursday and discussed about remaking the film in Hindi. Salman is currently shooting in Ladakh, and only after he watches the film, will a decision be taken on whether to remake the film or not," Dhaassyam told IANS.

Asked how Salman got interested in "Pellichoopulu", he said: "It was writer-director Vijayendra Prasad (writer of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan') who recommended the film to Salman, and the latter immediately expressed his interest to watch the film."

"Pellichoopulu", a low-budget romantic-comedy, is about the journey of a boy and a girl who are brought together by their business venture.

The film, having already been adjudged a hit at the domestic box office, is rocking the ticket window in the US.

Starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ritu Varma and Priyadarshi Pullikonda, "Pellichoopulu" was produced by Raj Kandukuri and Yash Rangineni.
