Tiger to star in Student of the Year 2
After Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ gave Bollywood three stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra he has the sequel all lined up. Karan tweeted that the romantic comedy is very much on track with Tiger Shroff as its star and Punit Malhotra as the director.

Karan wrote, “It’s OFFICIAL….Directed by Punit Malhotra STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 ( SOTY2) with TIGER SHROFF @iTIGERSHROF.” Tiger had earlier spoken about how surprised he was when Karan called him for a screen test. However, going by the casting, he seems to have aced it.
It is not clear which actress will be starring opposite Tiger. Earlier, it was speculated that ‘SOTY 2’ will be the debut of Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara.
“He (Tiger) has been offered ‘Student of the Year 2’. He is yet to hear the final narration post which he will most likely sign the film. He is quite excited about it (sequel) as it’s a Karan Johar film,” sources had said earlier. The rest of the cast is yet to be disclosed.
