After playing a strong role in her last Telugu outing ‘Columbus’, Mishti Chakraborty will portray another meaty role in Narasimha Rao’s directorial debut ‘Sarabha’. “I have been on the lookout for breakthrough roles and I’m glad the opportunity has come again with ‘Sarabha’.

This is a very complex yet interesting role, which has multiple shades (including black) that are totally contrasting. She’s bubbly, romantic and dangerous at times. The film is also high on VFX,” the bong beauty reveals.

For someone to whom acting happened by chance, the preparation to look the part was challenging? Mishti replies, “I did not prepare for the role. If I believe myself to be the character it’ll become easy for me to perform. I want to enjoy job as an actress and I don’t want to stress myself. I haven’t undergone any formal acting course before coming into films but I’m trying to constantly better my acting skills with each project.”

Describing the work experience with director Narasimha Rao as fantastic she says, “He is passionate about films. The way he narrates scenes just makes everything a cakewalk for us. He’s very patient with actors too.” The sci-fi thriller featuring debutant Aakash Sehdev is produced by Ashwani Kumar Sehdev.
