Vidya Pradeep joins the cast of Shoban Babu

The Telugu film industry has seen many personalities from different professions taking to acting. The latest to join the bandwagon is a scientist, Vidya Pradeep, who has bagged an important role in ‘Shoban Babu’. Initially, the makers considered Kannada actress Aishani Shetty for the role but due to date clashes she couldn’t make it to the cut. Director Viplove has now zeroed in on Vidya as another leading lady.”

“Vidya is currently undergoing the grooming session to look good onscreen and also working on her role. She is expected to join the sets in the next few days,” informs a source. Apparently, Vidya leads an interesting life.

“She has the best of both worlds as an actress and a stem cell researcher. But her approach to acting is absolutely clinical. She’s very inquisitive and wants to know the nuances of film making and is all kicked to join the sets,” the source adds. The romantic entertainer that stars Rahul Ravindran, also features Parvathy Nair and Nithya Shetty.
