“The shooting will commence on September 19 and the first schedule will take place in Vizag. It remains to be seen whether the second schedule will take place in Chennai or Ooty. The plan is to ready the film, tentatively titled ‘Guru,’ for Christmas,” said a source.
In the film, Venky, who was recently seen in the moderate grosser ‘Babu Bangaram,’ will be seen as a raging disgraced ex-boxer who picks up Ritika Singh for training into championship. Original director Sudha Kongara is helming the Telugu version too.
