Although Kit, Maisie, Emilia, Peter and Lena did not win, it was a big win for the show as David Benioff and DB Weiss took home two awards one for Best Drama Series and one for Best Writing in the Drama category.
The show also bagged the Outstanding Directing award for a drama series for its famous episode – The Battle of the Bastards. With two more seasons to go, it seems like the show is going to create a record that will be almost impossible for any TV show to beat in future.
