With the year 2016 being very busy with as many as 12 songs - most of them turning out chartbusters – singer Nakash Aziz feels glad that he’s able to live up to the expectations. “Ever since I made my career in singing, I’m able to get a lot of time to think and I’m glad that the comments are very appreciative,” he reveals.

The singer’s latest work includes crooning three different numbers - ‘Rada’, ‘Pee Paa Ke’ and ‘Om Ganapataye Namaha Deva’ - from ‘Banjo’. “It is a good project to be part of. I worked with Vishal-Shekhar for the first time. They have a different working style and I’m glad with the appreciation that’s coming,” shares the playback singer.

Six years after making his signing debut in 2010, Nakash has recently crooned for back to back Telugu numbers. “Working for South films is always special because of my roots (Karnataka). I crooned for ‘Blockbuster’ from ‘Sarrainodu’ and ‘Tauba Tauba’ from ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’. It is always exciting to work with Devi Sri Prasad; he’s very popular in Bollywood too, likewise, singing for SS Thaman is always exciting.

We put in a love of effort and I’m pleased that both the numbers have turned out to be instant chartbusters”, says Nakash, who recently sung a number ‘Tamizhselvi’ from the Tamil film ‘Remo’

The ‘Saree Ke Fall Sa’ singer states that there’s no pressure while singing for stars like Salman Khan and Shah Ruk Khan. “When I am singing, I first want to impress the music composer because he knows best what he wants, so the pressure for me is to deliver what they want. But honestly I was touch nervous singing for Salman and SRK films (smiles), but again my focus would remain on the song and the composer,” he adds.
