Academy award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty says the upcoming Hrithik Roshan-starrer 'Kaabil' will delve deep into different ways of hearing, and relies heavily on sound.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan, the film features the 'Krrish' star and Yami Gautam as a blind couple. The film reportedly chronicles the journey of a blind man who avenges the death of his girlfriend.

Resul says he has been working hard to give the romantic-thriller the perfect sound. "'Kaabil' is hugely sound-oriented script. It is the first time in Hindi cinema where we will be analysing ways of hearing. For me that's a big challenge," Resul said.

"We have done a few test sequences and are fine tuning some of the tests that we are doing on the sound. It is going to be an exciting experience with regards to the sound," he added.

The 45-year-old, who worked with Gupta earlier in 'Musafir' and 'Dus Kahaniyaan', says the filmmaker puts in complete trust in him which makes the job easier.

"Sanjay (Gupta) trusts me completely. We have an excellent rapport. He gives the film to me and only comes to watch the final mix. That's the kind of trust he has, and values me immensely as a colleague.

"I think the kind of trust he puts on me, gives me a more sense of responsibility and the fact that there is so much of faith, gives me joy to do things to the best," he said.
