Acclaimed cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has been roped in for Koratala Siva’s next with Mahesh Babu.
Acclaimed cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has been roped in for Koratala Siva’s next with Mahesh Babu. The lensman, who has to his CV films like ‘Dil Chahta Hai,’ ‘Boys’ and ‘Black’, will be making his Tollywood debut with the yet-untitled film, which will be launched on Wednesday in Hyderabad.
A source says, “Siva recently made no bones about him not having a thorough grip on certain technical aspects of filmmaking and that he makes up for it by roping in noted technicians. It was no different this time around with Ravi.
“However, the ace cinematographer is someone who takes up a project only if the story inspires him and Siva’s script was one such, leaving him no option but to sign it pronto. He is extremely excited about his Telugu debut.” To be produced by DVV Danayya, the project will go on to floors early next year. Devi Sri Prasad is on board to render tunes.
