A film on Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple treasure

Director G Ashok is busy brewing a storm in his cup. He has an uncanny knack for bagging big ticket flicks. The filmmaker, who is currently wrapping up Anushka Shetty-starrer ‘Bhagamati’, will soon commence work on another big project on Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple treasure.

The hidden discovery, which has got the world’s attention recently, is set for an on screen adaptation. Apparently, Ashok has been working on the script for over a year and holding discussions with various stakeholders. He eventually found the going recently with Abhishek Pictures and will make the film in three languages (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi).

“The project is one of Ashok’s most cherished one and he has been scripting it to make the film on a huge scale. Abhishek Pictures was captivated with the director’s vision and agreed to roll it,” informs a source. The socio-fantasy thriller, which will be made on more than 100 cr budget, will go on floors next year.
