Rapper Kanye West cancelled his show in Los Angeles hours before it was scheduled to begin.

The show was supposed to take place on Sunday night. Ticketmaster posted that the show, which was supposed to begin at 8 pm at the Forum, was cancelled at approximately 5 pm. The ticket vendor did not give an explanation for the cancellation.

Kanye also did not address the cancellation on any of his social media channels. A few days before the show, the rapper told the crowd at a San Jose concert that he would have voted for President-elect Donald Trump if he had voted in the election, eliciting mostly boos from the crowd.

"There are methods, non-political methods to speaking that I like, that I feel were very futuristic," he could be heard telling the audience in videos posted to social media.

"That style, and that method of communication has proven that it can beat a politically correct way of communication, and I f*** with that."

Just a day before the last-minute cancellation, Kanye again made headlines with statements he made at his Sacramento show on Saturday night. He appeared on stage 90 minutes late, and when he did, he performed only four songs before launching into a wide-ranging rant, slamming celebrities like singer Beyonce Knowles, rapper and producer Jay Z and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
