Script and Ritika are the first and second heroes of ‘Shivalinga’: Lawrence

Multi-faceted personality Raghava Lawrence says his wait to score a bigger hit than ‘Ganga’ paid off when he was asked by filmmaker P Vasu to watch the Kannada hit ‘Shivalinga’. “I liked it the moment I watched and decided to act in it. The film’s script is the first hero while heroine Ritika Singh is the second. Another actor Shakthi Vasu would be the third hero while I would be the fourth.

I was thrilled to see the way Ritika enacted the interval block scene. She would earn the same name that Jyotika earned through ‘Chandramukhi,’” promised Lawrence. He was speaking at a press meet of the film, being made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously, in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

He added, “I’m happy to be directed by P Vasu who directed my favourite hero Rajinikanth (in ‘Chandramukhi’).”

Vasu said barring a number, the film’s shooting has been wrapped up. An Abhishek Films production, the film will hit the cinema halls in January.
