The estranged couple's six children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 are begging their parents to spend Thanksgiving together as a family.
"Shiloh has been begging Brad and Angelina for weeks to start being nice to each other. Then she sent them both an emotional email asking for the family to spend Thanksgiving together. She let them know that it was what the kids were hoping for," said a source close to the family.
Pitt will be bringing the turkey as he "wants the kids to feel like it's the old days, like they're a family again."
The reunion will only be a "two-day truce."
