Actress Tanya Hope is hoping that her debut film ‘Appatlo Okadundevadu’ would strike a chord with the audience. “The film is set in 1980’s backdrop based on true events. I play a village belle who falls in love with a cricketer (played by Sri Vishnu). The content is a mix of all the commercial ingredients and hope it goes well with the audience,” she explains.

Tanya had a great time shooting for the Nara Rohit-starrer. “I had to do a lot of running, beat the goons, jump from a bike, etc. The whole experience has been amazing. I also had a chance to visit most part of the Ramoji Film City. Between the breaks, I used to check out other shooting spots. It so huge that I lost my way.

It was getting dark but thankfully my walkie talkie sprang back to life. The crew members later located me(smiles),” she smiles. Tipping the film’s director Sagar Chandra as levelheaded, she describes, “Sagar likes his actors to be spontaneous. He believes if we are given freedom, we can give our best. I did not even rehearse too many times for my scenes too. I like his technique.”
