Bollywood playback singer Aditi Singh Sharma was in Hyderabad on Saturday for a corporate show. The actress says it’s always nice to be in the city. “It was a short yet a lovely trip. The crowd was brilliant. Every time I perform, the crowd appreciates my shows. I had a show in Warangal in a college couple of months back. I have been to the city several times but unfortunately every time I come here on a short trip,” she explains.

Aditi says that she bought Karachi biscuits for her mom from Hyderabad “I carried two big bags of Karachi biscuits (smiles) for my mom. Last time too when I was in the city my entire band bought the biscuits for their families,” she says.

She crooned the title track from the Telugu film ‘Rowdy Fellow’. “It was great experience. I love singing in different languages and my friend Sunny composed the tunes. Though I did not know Telugu much, the lyricist of the film helped me with the meaning, but I loved working on the number and looking forward to more Telugu songs.”

The Delhi-born expresses that her journey has been a great one. “I started off with ‘Dev D’ and since then it has been an incredible journey. I am very grateful to work with several music composers, sing with singers, and give playback to several actors. I performed in various stage shows in India and around the world. It’s been very challenging yet satisfying, but I guess there’s a lot more to come,” she signs off.
