Seerat Kapoor to join Raju Gari Gadi 2

‘Raju Gari Gadi 2’ is all set to get more glamorous. After roping in Nagarjuna for a pivotal role, the makers are now considering Seerat Kapoor for one of the female leads. According to sources, the horror-thriller will have two leading ladies and Seerat has been a prime contender for one of the characters. The talks with the actress are in the final stages and if all goes well, the ‘Run Raja Run’ star could well be on board.

“Seerat wasn’t part of any such genre films earlier and as such we approached her. Moreover, we just don’t want to add glamour to the film merely for heck of it, her role is very substantial,” informs a unit source.

The film was formally launched in Hyderabad on Sunday. Nagarjuna, K Raghavendra Rao, Omkar, SS Thaman and producer Potluti Prasad took part in the opening ceremony.

Sharing his happiness to be part of the project, Nagarjuna said, “I have been wondering which project to take up after ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. Omkar narrated me a good script, a genre (thriller) something which I was never part of. I always wanted do films in thriller and the opportunity finally came. My role is that of playing with minds of people.”
