He added, “I’m thankful to Hema Malini, for she accepted to play the part of my mother Gautami in the film. If not for her, I don’t think we would have moved ahead with the film. In fact, we wouldn’t have. The audio and trailer would be unveiled in Tirupati on December 16. ”
The filming of Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer period drama ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ is over. Announcing this after performing Maha Rudrabhisekham for the success of the film in Hyderabad on Monday, Balayya said, “Despite shooting in places like Morocco, Georgia and Maheshwaram (MP) for it, we’ve never felt that film has been wrapped up. It is currently in post-production.”
He added, “I’m thankful to Hema Malini, for she accepted to play the part of my mother Gautami in the film. If not for her, I don’t think we would have moved ahead with the film. In fact, we wouldn’t have. The audio and trailer would be unveiled in Tirupati on December 16. ”
Updating about the film’s present status, director Krish noted, “Composer Chirantan Bhatt is busy with the re-recording of first half while simultaneously CG works are in progress. The film’s running time is 2 hours 12 minutes. It has been wrapped up in 79 days.”
