A day after it had emerged that Tamannaah would be reprising Kangana Ranaut in the Tamil version of Bollywood sleeper hit ‘Queen’, here’s another interesting update on the happening project. We have reliably learnt that Amy Jackson is on board now.

Apparently, the model-turned-actress has been roped in as the second lead in the drama and is likely to step into the shoes of Lisa Haydon. Interestingly, Amy has been asked to star in all the four languages (Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada). The ‘Yevadu’ star was more than pleased to do the honours and readily obliged.

A source says, “One of the prime reasons for Amy Jackson to have flagged off the project is that she would be seen in all the four languages. She agreed in principle but is yet to work on her dates.”

Interestingly, this news of Amy comes in the wake of the director and the lead actress for the Telugu version still being worked out. ‘Queen’ narrated the story of a young Punjabi girl, played by Kangana, who embarks on her honeymoon to Paris after her fiancé calls off her wedding.

Meanwhile…

Actor-filmmaker Prakash Raj will be helming the Kannada version of the film, which will star Parul Yadav in the lead role. Also, Amala Paul will be starring in the Malayalam version to be helmed by senior actress Revathy (who is also directing Tamil version).
