Srinivas Reddy & Co to play key roles in Taapsee’s next

Talkies has earlier reported that Taapsee Pannu is in talks for a comic caper to be directed by Mahi V Raghav of ‘Paathshala’ fame (October 25). The latest we hear to this end is that actors Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar and Jayaprakash Reddy are on board to play significant parts in the film. To roll shortly, the film will be a joint venture between Vijay Kumar Reddy and Shashidhar Reddy. They’ve earlier produced Sudheer Babu-starrer ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’.

A source close to the development confirms, “The plot revolves around the parts played by Taapsee and Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar and Jayaprakash Reddy. It’s a fun film set in Hyderabad. The plan is to wrap it up by January. Despite being busy in Bollywood with films like ‘Naam Shabana’ and ‘Judwaa 2’, Taapsee, impressed by the subject, gave her consent.”
