Anandhi to play Pawan’s sister

Anandhi of ‘Bus Stop’ and ‘Green Signal’ has just bagged the biggest project of her career that would catapult her to the next league in Telugu. The petite actress, Talkies has learnt, will be part of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming project with RT Neason.

Apparently, the Telugu actress was approached to play Pawan’s sister in the action entertainer, which is said to be a remake of Tamil hit ‘Vedalam’. “Her joy knew no boundaries when she was contacted by the unit and instantly gave her consent to the film,” informs a source.

He adds, “It’s a role which has more prominence than the film’s heroine and she feels lucky to have bagged it. She is hopeful that it be would be a re-launch for her in Tollywood from which she’s been missing in action for a while.”Interestingly, Anandhi featured in several Kollywood films as lead actress and is quite popular over there than on her home turf. This is her first big-ticket flick in her mother tongue.

Also, it was very recently that she said she is a big fan of Pawan Kalyan and that she would love to act in his films. Guess dreams do come true very fast sometimes. AM Ratnam is producing the project, which will flag-off next year.
