Mehreen on a roll
Mehreen Kaur, who not long ago was rumoured to be a part of Ravi Teja’s next with Chakri (the project that was eventually called off), seems to be on her way to sign the Mass Maharaja’s flick with Anil Ravipudi, which Talkies had reported on Thursday.

Mehreen Kaur, who not long ago was rumoured to be a part of Ravi Teja’s next with Chakri (the project that was eventually called off), seems to be on her way to sign the Mass Maharaja’s flick with Anil Ravipudi, which Talkies had reported on Thursday. Our source says that the ‘Supreme’ director has initiated talks with Mehreen to be the film’s heroine.
“The discussions are on but it’s pretty early to confirm her participation as the makers are yet to come to a conclusion on her fee,” confirms a source, adding, “Mehreen is excited about the project as it would be her first film with a top star of Tollywood.”
The source also adds that the actress has agreed to star in Sharwanand’s next with Maruthi. “She was approached for the film a week back but has signed on the dotted line a couple of days ago. Although Hansika Motwani and Pragya Jaiswal were in the race to bag the project, they were pipped to the post by Mehreen.”
