Geetha Arts signs Suri for another film

With ‘Dhruva’ opening to positive word of mouth, director Surender Reddy has become the talk of the town. While he recently clarified that he won’t be directing Nikhil Gowda, Karnataka former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy’s son, up next despite an offer, we hear he is committed to make another film with Geetha Arts.

“Yes, Allu Aravind has booked him for another project. The Geetha Arts chief was impressed by the way Suri went about making ‘Dhruva’ and asked him to make another film for him. The director is toying with the idea of making a small film, which has been his dream, up next but it all boils down to ‘Dhruva’s run in the coming days. If the film conquers BO, then chances of Suri directing a star hero next are brighter. If not, then he might stick to a small film,” confirmed a source privy to the development.
