After unveiling the first of look of ‘Gunturodu’ (Manoj munching mirchi) recently, the unit has released the trailer at a press gathering in Hyderabad on Monday. “My earlier film ‘Shourya’ is soft and sensitive but this will be a total contrast. Since the story is based out of Guntur, the film has been aptly titled ‘Gunturodu’. Most of the film has been shot in Guntur and the film will cater to all audiences.
This is a full-on mass, commercial entertainer and my role will be a first-of-its-kind for me. Like typical Guntur mirchi, I’ll play seen in a rugged look with a mass characterization. The film has a caption ‘Love Lo Paddadu’, which signifies a romantic angle to the tale,” said Manoj. Directed by SK Satya, the action drama has Pragya Jaiswal of ‘Kanche’ fame playing the female lead. Director Bobby, Anil Sunkara also attended the event.
