Superstar Venkatesh fans were treated with the teaser of his upcoming, ‘Guru’, on his birthday on Tuesday. What’s more interesting about the 40 seconds promotional video, besides Venky’s energetic steps, was that it also marked the actor singing for the first time in his near thirty years career.

While it is not clear whether he has sung for a portion of the song or the full song, his fans were surprised to notice the video ending in his vocals. In ‘Guru’, a remake of ‘Saala Khadoos’, Venky would be seen as a raging disgraced ex-boxer who picks up a foul-mouthed uncouth boxer (Ritika Singh) for training into championship. Directed by Sudha Kongara, it will hit the screens next month.
