Another postponement for Singham 3

The release of Suriya-starrer ‘Singham 3’ has been deferred once again. The film, directed by Hari, was to open on December 16 initially but on the request of ‘Dhruva’ producer Allu Aravind, who wanted his production to have an extended run at the cinema halls; Suriya postponed his arrival by a week December 23. However, in a sudden turn of events, the actioner has been rescheduled again.

Suriya, without revealing the details, blamed it on the external factors. “Dear all! #S3 stands postponed due to several external factors not under our control!Believe it's for the larger good!Need all your support! (sic),” he posted on Twitter.

However, a source says one of the reasons for the postponement was that the makers were unhappy with the ‘U/A’ certification that was awarded to them. “They are planning to go the revising committee to bag ‘U’ certificate,” said the source. Malkapuram Shivakumar is releasing the film in Telugu.
