Perhaps no one knows how to wow the audience in quintessential saree better than Anushka Shetty. While her saree-clad appearances would be seen evidently in ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, she is all elegance personified when it comes ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ (ONV), starring Nagarjuna. The actress is known for her versatility not just in playing different roles on-screen but also for trying out different looks.

In the forthcoming K Raghavendra Rao directorial, Anushka plays Krishnamma, who apparently has four different looks. While the outfits designing for the three looks were similar, a lot of effort went into creating Anushka’s saree for ‘Goda Devi’ look.

“Apparently, the designers required around 25 meters of fabric for the Goda Devi look. Since sarees in such volumes are not readily available, the stylist had to buy the fabric in thaans and later stitch the border.

The idea was to ensure that the saree’s kucchus will get the desired ‘half-moon’ shape when she stood up,” informs a source close to the actress. Accessories too like jhumukas have been bought from Amrapali Jewels, Jaipur.
