Sukumar- Ram Charan film to be shot in Godavari belt
Speaking to media recently, Ram Charan had said he will start his next with Sukumar after his dad’s film, ‘Khaidi No 150,’ releases this Sankranti. To this end, the latest we hear is that a major part of the film, a rural-centric love story, will be filmed in the Godavari region.

A source confirms, “Sukumar has zeroed in on Hope Island, Kakinada and Kothapalli, East Godavari as the setting. He is keen on capturing the beauty of these places as they are. In case if a problem surfaces because of people thronging the locations and causing inconvenience to the unit, there is every chance for the shooting to be shifted to Pollachi, Tamil Nadu.”
It is said that in the untitled film, Charan plays a hearing impaired youth. Though the names of Samantha, Raashi Khanna and Anupama Parameswaran are bandied about to romance him, the production house– Mythri Movie Makers– is yet to declare the heroine’s name.
