Nani bats for ‘healthy competition’

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently tweeted that his family loved Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ and that they felt it was superior to his film ‘Sultan,’ setting a healthy precedent in the industry.

In fact, to rewind a bit, there were numerous instances where Aamir too helped spread a word or two about Salman’s films (read Aamir in tears after watching ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’).

However, down here, we rarely witness one star going out of his way to promote other star’s film unless he is a family member.

Nani, who is on a roll with hits like ‘Gentleman’ and ‘Majnu,’ wants our stars to do a Salman—Aamir.

“I so wish our "stars and super stars" do this .. Cinema deserves a healthy competition .. We all deserve good movies," the actor, who would next be seen in ‘Nenu Local,’ posted on his Twitter page, referring to Salman’s tweet.
