After bagging projects opposite Ravi Teja and Sharwanand (apart from a Tamil film), the Punjabi actress has now landed female lead in Varun Tej’s (inset) forthcoming film. Apparently, the film’s director Venky Atluri decided to go with the wind and has handpicked Mehreen for the leading lady role.
“Mehreen likes the theme and the concept of the film. She believes it's resourceful, yet exciting to take up such projects,” informs a source close to the actress.
