Tanya Hope is happy to de-glam

Beating all jitters ahead of the release of her debut film ‘Appatlo Okadundevadu’, Tanya Hope is unwinding herself on a holiday in the Doha. “Qatar may not be the ideal place around Christmas time (smiles) but I’m having a gala time - spending time with my cousins and friends - I need this break so that I can rejuvenate.

I recently experienced the thrill of sand dune bashing. And I am throwing a bash to my friends in Bangalore to ring in the New Year,” she says.

Contrary to her pageant colleagues, who have forayed into showbiz with a glamorous role, Tanya is glad that to go de-glam in her debut for her role. “I fell in love with my role and the script and that’s all I look at.”

But away from arch lights, Tanya loves to wear casuals. “I have picked up my fashion sense from my mom. It always depends on the moment because I randomly pick up outfits. I love to wear ripped jeans, denims, and of course chokers. But I am obsessed about footwear because my heels make me look taller,” she smiles.
