Naga Chaitanya, not Akhil, to marry first

It was Naga Chaitanya himself, during the promotions of ‘Premam,’ confirmed that his younger brother Akhil would tie the knot first. A destination wedding in Italy is on the cards, he had added. Turns out, there is a slight change in the plan. According to a source close to Annapurna Studios, we hear that Chay might wed before Akhil.

The source says, “Although Nagarjuna has initially welcomed his elder son’s decision of marrying his sweetheart Samantha after Akhil’s nuptials, it was only recently that he had asked Chay to reconsider his decision. He wants Chay to marry Sam 15-20 days prior to Akhil’s wedding.

It is unclear whether Nag too like most Hindu families believes in performing the marriage of his elder son first, but he had conveyed his decision to Chay. The ‘Tadakha’ star, who will get engaged on January 29, is most likely to accept his dad’s proposal.”

He adds, “Since Akhil’s wedding would be a grand affair, Nag wants Chay’s wedding too be nothing short of it. A beach side destination wedding is on the agenda.”
