Namitha to stage a comeback 

The actress, who was last seen in Balakrishna-starrer ‘Simha’, will be reportedly playing a crucial role in ‘Guntur Talkies 2’

Actress Namitha, who made her debut with ‘Sontham’ and went on to feature in films like ‘Gemini,’ ‘Billa’ and ‘Simha’, is on the anvil of staging a comeback to Tollywood. The actress is reportedly in talks with the makers of ‘Guntur Talkies 2’ for an important role. The talks have almost come good and she is likely to come on board.

“Namitha was recently given a narration and she felt it was a part with substance. However, since the other modalities are still being worked out, she is yet to sign on the dotted line,” informs a source. The source adds that the film’s director and producer Rajkumar believed that someone like Namitha, apart from giving a fresh appeal to the cast, can pull off the strong role.

“Also, as the film is being planned in three languages (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi), Rajkumar felt that Namitha, who still commands a good market in Kollywood, will help him as far as the opening are concerned and so, knocked her doors.” Nikesha Patel and Sunny Leone are already on board.
